Nola's Notes - December 10, 2009

Art Show, Santa's visit, Holiday titles.

Winter has arrived!  We invite you to spend a snowy day or evening, relaxing  with friends at the library.

You may wish to stop in during this next week of December 7th, to see students’ artwork on display at the library. The show will be open during the library’s regular hours, which are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 12:00-8:00, and Thursday, Friday,  Saturday 10:00-5:00.  The C-G school and T.A.P. have coordinated this display.

On Saturday, December 12th, Clarion Partnership for Growth, T.A.P. and the library staff together will host children’s activities, games and stories at the library.  Santa will be visiting the library during this event, so, you may want to mark your calendars, and bundle up the kids to join the festivities.

Numerous holiday titles are currently available at the library.  Thomas Kinkade’s new book is “A Wish for Christmas;”  Heather Graham has, “Home in Time for Christmas;” Kate Jacobs has written “Knit the Season,” the newest addition to the Friday Night Knitting Club Series.  Additional authors with new titles for the season include: Susan Wiggs, Linda Lael Miller, Jennifer Chiaverini, and Debbie Macomber.

During the rush of the holidays, we hope you have time to relax and enjoy the season.
