These are the Books scheduled for discussion:
The Lake Book Club frequently asks us to have extra copies available for their discussions that you might also be interested to read. The current Title we have numerous copies of is Leaving Cold Sassy.
The Clarion Library Noon Book Club meets on the 4th Thursday of the month (or Tuesday) at 12:00 noon.
Meetings are at the Clarion Library.
- These discussions are geared towards adults who would like to discuss books they read with others.
- Those interested take turns facilitating the discussion.
Books are chosen according to interest and availability in adequate numbers. We welcome suggestions for titles to include on our list. Please let us know your reviews of the books you have read.
- Several copies of the next book are usually available at the discussion meeting and afterwards at the circulation reserve shelf. We try to have large print available as well as books on tape or CD.
- We hope that you can read the book before the discussion, but often find that those in varied stages of reading the book are more aware of some details that those who finished it have forgotten.
- Staff contact - Usually Linda Lloyd or Nola are most aware of Book Club news.
- Please let us know your email address if you would like reminders of the date and time of discussions. You can also check "Upcoming Events" column on the right side of this page. clicking on the Book Club related Link will take you to a page with a link that has discussion questions.
