"The Black Hand" by Stephan Talty. New York City in 1903 has fallen prey to a never before seen crime wave. "Confessions of a Domestic Failure" by Bunmi Laditan. If there are “good moms” and “bad moms” then there must be “hot mess moms”. Meet Ashley Keller, who has gone from career centered to stay at home mother. She tries to keep up with the seemingly fabulous moms on the internet, but it isn’t that easy. But when a chance to attend an event by her online idol comes up, will she sink or swim?

"The Stars Are Fire" by Anita Shreve. Its October 1947 and fires rage in Maine. While their husbands fight the out of control fires, two friends band together to protect their families. Homes destroyed, no money, and awaiting word of their husbands these women will face even more challenges.

Happening at The Library:

Family Movie Night. May 15 th 6-8pm. Come and enjoy a movie with the family! We will be showing Mary Poppins in the large meeting room. Popcorn will be provided.

STEM kit Day. May 17th . Elementary age kids are invited to the library for some hands on science. This STEM kit will be "learning about water filters".

There are e-book resources for K-12 students as well as Ebsco Host reference materials. And we also have newspaper archives available online.  Come visit us at the library Monday through Wednesday noon to 8 pm, Thursday and Friday 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday 10 am to 3 pm.
