"Don’t Let Go" by Harlan Coben. New Jersey Detective Napoleon Dumas has been searching for fifteen years. His senior year of high school his brother Leo and Leo’s girlfriend Diana were found dead on the railroad tracks, and Napoleon’s girlfriend and love of his life, Maura, disappeared without an explanation or trace. Now Maura’s fingerprints have turned up in the rental car of a suspected murderer and the reason will lead Napoleon to even more questions with answers he may not want.

A colleague and disciple of George Smiley of the British Secret Service, Peter Guillam is now determined to live out his old age on the family farmstead on the South coast of Brittany. However, when a letter from the Service summons Peter to London, he finds his Cold War deeds have come back haunt him. A new generation, with only academic understanding of the realities of the Cold War, are set to scrutinize intelligence operations and agents that were crucial to the cause.
"The Room of White Fire" by T. Jefferson Parker. Roland Ford was a cop, then he was a marine, and now he’s a private investigator. His talent for finding people puts him at the top of the list locate air force veteran Clay Hickman, but things aren’t as clear cut as they seem. There is a darkness hanging over the search and everyone involved has a different story. First there’s the teenage girl who helped Clay escape, then there’s Clay’s impossible to read doctor, and the enigmatic proprietor of the mental institute Clay escaped from. Now what started as a simple job for Roland has become a life or death struggle with powerful and shadowy people.
Happening at The Library
Gentle Yoga is now in session Tuesdays evenings through October 17 th. A second session will run October 24 th through November 28 th . Prairie Sun Yoga will be holding a gentle yoga class in the large meeting room at the Library. Cost will be $42 for the full 6-week session or $10 per class for walk-ins. You can register with Mary-Louise Burt, the certified yoga instructor who is teaching the class, or at the Clarion Public Library. Remember to wear comfortable clothes and bring your own yoga mat.
Seasons of Wright County photo contest. Going on now through February 28 th . We are looking for pictures that showcase the beauty of Iowa in any and all seasons. Complete contest rules and details are available at the Clarion Public Library and our website.
