Gale - a resource offered by libraries.

Gale Iowa Pages Icon  Sometimes we all need help deciding what to read next and Gale has a page for that. The Books & Authors page is a fantastic resource for any reader. You can set up an account and keep track of books you have read and want to read in the future. The “Who?What? When?Where?” section offers a unique way to search for a new book based on character descriptors, subjects, geography, and time periods. A good tool for book clubs is the "Read Alike Wizard" that lets you search for books similar to a selected title. Books & Authors also offers Expert Picks and Librarian’s Favorites if you’re looking to get a suggestion from the pros. All this on top of standard Author and Title searches and being able to just browse by Title, Author, or Genre makes the Books & Authors page - a must for individual readers and book clubs alike.

As the seasons change, don’t forget to capture that natural beauty for the Seasons of Wright County photo contest. The submission deadline is February 28, more information and sign-up sheets are available at the library and online on our website.
