Check It Out @ The Library - November 9, 2017

Library services.

You may not always have time to stop by the Clarion Public Library in person, but our online resources are available 24/7. All you need are a computer, tablet, or cell phone, an internet connection and your library card. From the library website a whole range of possibilities are at your fingertips. Bridges offers a wide selection of e-books, audio books, and even digital movies available to borrow. New and classic fiction, Biographies and nonfiction, even a section of Amish and Mennonite fiction. Selections are available for download to you Kindle or other e-reader or you can use the Bridges app on iOS, Android, and Windows. You can borrow a title for two weeks then return it and choose another. You can also put selections on hold for later and build your “to read” shelf.  For the more mechanically inclined Gale offers access to Chilton Library online. Chilton offers access to maintenance and specification tables for each vehicle, vacuum and wiring diagrams to explain operation and help troubleshooting, and close up photos and illustrations for visual support. That is all in addition to the step-by- step service and repair instructions and a labor estimating tool so you can decide if you can or should handle a repair yourself. The Chilton Library also offers a series of ASE test prep quizzes
for popular certification exams. And just in case you need an offline reference, there is a print button so you can easily get a printout for later.
