New Year, New You

It’s a new year and you probably have some resolutions to go along with it, so let the Clarion Library help.  If fitness is your new goal, you may want to check out a book on yoga like “Fit Girl Yoga for Fitness and Flexibility or Stress Relief”.   Both are easy to follow and a good addition to the upcoming yoga classes at the library.  If you want to try something different, you could look at “The Pilates Difference“ by Jennifer Dufton, a solid look at the exercise for the beginner or a refresher course for the more experienced.

Maybe you want to change how you eat in the new year, if so the library has a wide range of diet and cookbooks.  “Real Food Heals“ by Seamus Mullen aims to merge the concepts of “healthy” and “good” cooking and eating.  If you got an air fryer for Christmas, we have you covered with “The Complete Air Fryer Cookbook“ by Linda Larsen and “Air Fry Everything!“ by Meredith Laurence.  Both books highlight cooking tasty and fun food while highlighting the healthier aspects of air frying.

And of course what resolution list would be complete without mentioning finances.  Get the whole family in financial shape this year with “Get a Financial Life and Make Your Kid a Money Genius(even if you’re not)“ by Beth Kobliner.  For a different perspective on money matters there is also “The Total Money Makeover“ by Dave Ramsey.  Ramsey takes on money myths and strategies to get out of debt and stay out, all in plain language and simple directions.
