New on the Shelf

“Dark in Death“ by J.D. Robb.  When someone takes an ice pick to the neck at a movie screening Eve Dallas is on the case.  However, her confusion over the details is derailed by a bit of unexpected help; an author recognizes the crime –one from the pages of her own book.   With this new information, Dallas is able to connect this with another killing, again inspired by the same authors work.  Now it’s a race against time to find the inspiration for the next murder before the literary copycat strikes again.

”Munich“ by Robert Harris.  In September 1938 two powers are about to meet.  Hitler on his path to war and Chamberlain desperate to keep the peace.  And beyond the leaders are two men returning to the last place they had seen each other since before Hitler came to power.  Hugh Legat is one of Chamberlain’s private secretaries and Paul Hartmann is a German Diplomat and member of the anti-Hitler resistance.  The stakes are high and betrayal is a real possibility for anyone on the road to Munich.

“Minimalism for Families” by Zoe Kim.  Going minimalist and decluttering your home can be a struggle for anyone, especially busy families.  Minimalism for Families helps to put any family on track to get organized and embrace minimalism.  Included is an introduction to the concept of minimalism, how to adopt and integrate the mindset, and its benefits.  Also provided are plans for every room in the home and tips to get the whole family acting as a team towards the goal of simplifying life with minimalism.
