The search for the killer expands beyond her jurisdiction and Lindsay follows, falling into the case to a frightening degree. Ignoring medical issues and the advice of her closest friends, Lindsay must see this case to the end, no matter what.

The Forgotten Road by Richard Paul Evans. Charles James is dead, the Chicago celebrity perishing in a plane crash. At least that’s what everyone thinks, but in an incredible twist of fate Charles survived and is looking toward the future. Charles realizes that all the money, fame, and things in his life didn’t make him happy. The last time he remembers actually being happy was when he was married to his now ex-wife Monica. Deciding to focus and find himself again, Charles embarks on a daunting quest: Walking Route 66 from Chicago to California, where Monica lives now. Traveling along America’s most iconic road, Charles finds not just himself but a deeper appreciation for the people he meets and the world around him.

My Dear Hamilton: A Novel of Eliza Schuyler Hamilton by Stephanie Dray and Laura Kamoie. New York during the revolution was an interesting place for a young woman coming of age, but Elizabeth Schuyler finds fulfilment in the fight for independence. She also unexpectedly finds love with General Washington’s aide-de-camp, the ambitious Alexander Hamilton. Through battle and politics to scandal and betrayal, Eliza weathers it all, even granting forgiveness in the face of heartbreak.  After a duel shatters what little peace remains in her life, Eliza finds herself fighting once more this time to defend the legacy of the husband she is still trying to understand.
