A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership by James Comey.  From the mundane to incredibly high-stakes situations, former FBI Director James Comey sets down his thoughts and opinions on the past two decades of his career in American Government.  Appointed as FBI Director in 2013 by President Barack Obama, Comeys previously served as U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, and U.S. deputy attorney general for the George W. Bush administration.  From prosecuting the Mafia and Martha Stewart to assisting in the change of policy on torture and electronic surveillance, Comey has been involved in some of the biggest cases and policy changes in recent political history.  Now James Comey provides and unprecedented and unvarnished look into the corridors of power.

Lincoln’s Last Trial: The Murder Case That Propelled Him to the Presidency by Dan Abrams and David Fisher.  During his two-decade law career, Abraham Lincoln had been involved in over three thousand cases, including more than 25 murder cases.  Lincoln had gained a reputation as a talented lawyer, and his recent debates with Senator Stephen Douglas had gained him a national following.  Lincoln was a dark horse contender for the presidency in 1860, even more attention being focused on his latest trial.  The murder trial of Peachy Quinn Harrison, the son of a friend and supporter of Lincoln, accused of killing a man who had trained for law in the office of Lincoln.  This trial would be followed by the nation, with the outcome set to influence Lincoln’s run at the office of President.

The Gray Ghost by Clive Cussler and Robin Burcell.  The Gray Ghost, incredible prototype from Rolls-Royce, disappeared from the streets of Manchester, England in 1906.  The timely intervention of American detective Isaac Bell is all that kept it from becoming lost to history, however not even that could save the good name of the man who stood accused of its theft, Marcus Peyton.  Over one hundred years later, the grandson of Marcus Peyton turns to Sam and Remi Fargo to clear the name of his grandfather.  Through fantastic chance, the Gray Ghost has disappeared again and within that fabled automobile is an object even more rare and valuable.  Many men want this prize; with a great deal to be won or lost, plans could be final for the losers.
