Jillian Michaels The Biggest Winner! on DVD.  Jillian builds on some of her past workout DVDs to get the most out of these exercise routines.  In Maximize-Full Frontal the workout is taken even further to shape and tone your body, burning fat and building muscle.  The DVD also includes diet and exercise tips for your everyday routine, recipes, and tactics for tracking your progress and development.  Maximize-Back in Action targets the back, biceps, glutes, hamstrings, and as always abs.  On top of the targeted workout portions, there are also cardio intervals in the workout to burn more fat and increase your heart rate.  This DVD also includes tips and tricks for tracking your progress and keeping the weight off.

The Shortest Way Home by Miriam Parker.  Just a couple more weeks until grad school ends, and Hannah will have everything she has been dreaming of, Manhattan apartment, high-paying job, and her boyfriend is on the verge of proposing.  Their celebratory getaway to Sonoma soon derails those plans, however.  A job offer out of nowhere from the first winery they get to sees Hannah staying in California.  Abandoning all of her carefully laid plans to move across the country to help bail out a shaky winery is both a terrifying and freeing experience, and the handsome owners son is an added bonus as well.  Casting all expectations to the wind and throwing herself into a new life, Hannah finds herself looking from California to Manhattan and all the way back to the Iowa girl looking to escape in the first place.

A River of Stars by Vanessa Hua.  It all started with a factory job, Scarlett Chen never meant to fall in love with her boss or get pregnant.  Of course, her boss is already married and has three daughters, but Scarlett is carrying a boy so the father is thrilled and willing to pull out all the stops to provide for a potential son.  Now Scarlett is in Los Angeles, in a secret maternity home being fed medicinal stews and dealing with the politics of a new country and a house full of women much like her, all so her child can have U.S. citizenship.  The only one who seems to fit in less than Scarlett is Daisy, a teen mother being kept from her American boyfriend.  When a new sonogram shows something unexpected, Scarlett steals a van to get away, and inadvertently takes along a stowaway, Daisy.  Now the two are headed to San Francisco to disappear into the busy streets of Chinatown in pursuit of their own American dream, both unaware of who is following them.
