Recursion by Blake Crouch.  If our memory defines our reality, what happens when memory cannot be trusted?  New York cop Barry Sutton is looking into what has been dubbed ‘False Memory Syndrome’, people driven to madness by memories that never happened.  Helena Smith has spent her life focusing on the study of neuroscience and developing the technology to preserve and relive memories with crystal clarity.  Coming together in their quest to understand the false memories, Barry and Helena find more than just a random disease at work on the minds of people.  Memories aren’t just being created, the fabric of the past is being altered in terrifying ways, with the potential to destroy the world as we know it.  These two will make a stand against the disastrous warping of reality, but how can one defend against the crumbling of space and time?

The Rosie Result by Graeme Simsion.  Don and Rosie have been happily married for over a decade, enjoying peace and a fantastic relationship.  However, both are thrown for a loop by a call from their son’s school.  Hudson has always been smart, but the report that he is having trouble with social situations and may be on the autism spectrum comes as a surprise.  Since his methodical nature aided him in finding his match in Rosie and he has spent most of his life trying to fit in with everyone else, Don figures whom better than him to help Hudson.  With assistance from friends old and new, Don resolves to do all he can for his son, and perhaps take a closer look at himself as well.

The Silent Corner by Dean Koontz.  Though he had everything to live for, he took his own life leaving only the words, “I very much need to be dead.”  Left alone with her fear and grief, Jane Hawk does the only thing left to her, look for the truth regardless of the cost.  People have been committing suicide in disturbing numbers, people like her husband, with good lives and sound minds.  Digging deeper into the situation finds Jane being declared the most-wanted fugitive in America.  Hunted by powerful and ruthless enemies out to protect themselves at all cost and ready to terminate anyone who stands in their way, Jane must pit herself against them to drag the truth into the light of day.
